The Underwood 330 at Work.
Waging my anti-technology war, I did some typing with the Underwood 330 at my job. It's a picky machine but all went well. The story is coming along nicely and with any luck I'll be done by Christmas.
A beautiful design and one of the reasons why I purchase my machine. The most famous one of this design is the Montgomery Ward Escort 55 in sunny yellow with white keytops, Another version of the 1970's Lettera 32 without touch control. Here is Alan Seaver's Escort 55 at "Machines of Loving Grace" http://machinesoflovinggrace.com/large/MontgomeryWardEscort55.jpg
Don't ask me what's wrong with Blogger. No idea.
ReplyDeleteNice looking Underwood. I just found your blog. Nice work. I am surprised I had not found it before.
ReplyDeleteBlogger is what Blogger is, problems and all. Best of all though -- it's FREE!
