Update

A Consolidated Communications van was in my neighborhood yesterday, and I got a call from them this morning saying work was done. It has seemed to work since then, so with any luck I'll be updating in a day or two. I'm way behind because I've also been working on a number of story ideas and also have a full-time job. In addition, I've been doing an intensive study of Shakespeare's Hamlet. I've got a lot going on. But I'll be back before long.
