My science project. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but it ain't gonna hurt this typewriter any worse. I think we do crazy things that help us learn in the long run. At least that's what I keep telling myself. In a worst case scenario, I can always throw it back together and pretend none of this happened.
Curiosity plays a cruel joke sometimes.
ReplyDeleteIt is broken in ways that I can't personally fix, and I wouldn't have known it if I hadn't taken it apart. I don't think it would be practical to try, since it's so old and parts aren't available. It would probably be more practical to keep it around as a parts machine and get another one. They're not particularly rare or expensive.
